The Lion and the Lamb

I first drew up a light sketch with a Faber Castel sketch pencils (set of 6), then filled it all in with a Faber Castel pen size, medium.

This Image comes from the love I have for Christ and lions. It just so happens that Christ is also the Lion of Juda. The reason for the drop or blood coming from one of the spikes in the crown of thorns mixing in with a tear represents a couple things. One, being that when He was pierced in His side blood and water came out and two, the agony He faced in the garden caused Him to sweat blood. I really enjoyed making this drawing I hope anyone who sees it enjoys it to.
